Terms & Conditions

  1. Foundation Sports reserves the right to decline any application to the Primary Sports Fund at its sole discretion, and is under no obligation to provide a reason for the decision.
    –––––

  2. If your application is successful, the cost of five 60-minute sports sessions will be fully covered by the Primary Sports Fund. No funds will be transferred directly to your school or setting.
    –––––

  3. Each accepted school or setting will be entitled to five fully funded sessions, delivered by qualified Foundation Sports coaches. There is no obligation to book further sessions beyond the five provided, although ongoing provision can be arranged separately if desired.
    –––––

  4. A member of school staff must be present at all times during each session to ensure safeguarding and to support behaviour management if necessary.
    –––––

  5. Once sessions have been scheduled, any changes must be communicated with at least 24 hours’ notice. If notice is not given and a coach arrives on site, the school may be charged for the missed session.
    –––––

  6. By submitting an application, you consent to your contact details being shared with Foundation Sports staff for the purpose of organising and delivering your funded sessions.
    –––––

  7. If we are unable to deliver a session for any reason, we will notify you as early as possible and offer to reschedule at a convenient time.
    –––––

  8. If your school is outside of our current delivery area, your application will be placed on a waiting list and you will be contacted if/when we are able to offer provision in your area.
    –––––

  9. Participation and Engagement:
Schools are expected to ensure that the sessions are attended by the intended class or group of pupils and that children are appropriately dressed and ready to participate. Repeated non-participation may affect eligibility for future funding opportunities.

    –––––

  10. Use of Feedback and Media:
Foundation Sports may request feedback from staff or pupils and may take photos or videos for promotional purposes. Any media will only be used with prior written consent and in line with safeguarding guidelines.

    –––––

  11. Non-Transferability:
The sessions provided through the Primary Sports Fund are non-transferable and must be delivered to the school or setting that submitted the original application.

    –––––

  12. One Application Per School:
Only one application per school or setting will be accepted during each funding round. Repeat applications may be considered at a later date, subject to availability and fund capacity.
